Construction of New Bedadi Village Progresses A Pace

Construction is now underway on 26 plots at the new Bedadi village with ten plots nearing completion. As much of the work as possible is being undertaken by residents of the village; from skilled joinery and masonery to basic labouring. This is providing income and the new skills for some of the villagers and is also helping to keep the cost of the project as low as possible. After a considerable delay in obtaining timber, work is now rapidly progressing to roof the units completed to roof height while timber was awaited for the roof trusses and there is optimism that the village may be completed by the end of the year.
