As well as the projects we are jointly implementing with our local partner in Pakistan, CAMP, we believe it is also very important to help build both administrative and technical capacity within CAMP. In the past year Dr Andrew Ferguson has led the needs assessment, proposal development and grant application process that has resulted in CAMP securing the funds for an emergency relief project (provision of primary health care services and the distribution of essential food and non-food items) for flood victims within the Khyber Agency of FATA and, more recently, to begin an HIV-AIDS prevention project targeting high risk youth within FATA.

We look forward to the opportunity of building on these successes over the coming years.
